 John Johnson started training his abilities after he had experienced some, what was for him, unexplainable experiences as a young child and in his teenage years. It was not until he was in his 20’s that John really started to focus his attention on what these experiences were about and that is when he discovered Spiritualism.
As a boy, his mother would take him to church on a Sunday morning but he did not have any association with it, to him it did not seem to touch his spirit as much as those sitting around him and would frequently ask questions to which the answers would not fulfill his needs.
In his early 20’s John was having more experiences of what he understands now to be of a spiritual nature. This is when he started to read and research information about Spiritualism, and eventually he went to see what happens at the Spiritual Churches. John said “that was the moment I knew I was in the right place”
After meeting Paul Jacobs (www.Paul-jacobs.com) at a workshop in his local Spiritual Church in 2000, Paul quickly noticed that John had indeed a wonderful gift to communicate with the spirit world. Paul was so convinced of John’s ability to be a good medium that Paul has taken an personal interest in his development. Paul helps John whenever it was possible to continue to help develop his ability in such a way to provide wonderful proof of survival and help him realise his own potential. Paul also encouraged John to used his ability to help as many people as possible through demonstrations and sittings or for those who feel they needed some help and guidance in their life, and of course those who had lost friends and loved ones.
Since that time John has been to the Arthur Findlay College at Stanstead Hall in London, England. Here he has worked, again with Paul Jacobs, to develop his gift for the benefit of others and has been privileged to take part in services at Stanstead Hall.
He still goes there on a regular basis to ensure his quality of work is at its best. John has always taken his ability seriously and would go wherever he could to practise to further develop his ability. He attended many centers and churches where he would sit in circles and practise with other like minded people to help gain experience with real people and real problems and for those living, but also for those who have lost friends or loved ones.
During his travels, apart from some churches and centers in Scotland, he has also been lucky enough to experience such places as Australia at a church in Melbourne, and in Germany with Paul Jacobs at the House of Spirit Houseofspirit@web.de and at José Gosschalk in the Netherlands. At the start of 2007 through changes in his personal life, John decided to further his life journey and life experience so he may reach more people and decided to move to the Netherlands. He now lives in Den Haag were he has began his teachings to help others to discover and develop their abilities.
John hopes to touch as many people as possible to spread the spiritual knowledge he has been born with and also what he has gained through the teachings of Paul Jacobs, and help give his understanding to those who wish to know more about all aspects of Spiritualis of Spiritualism, be it through a private sitting or demonstration or for those who would like to experience it for themselves at a workshop.
John is also in the process of gaining awards from the Spiritual National Union (SNU) and is also working towards gaining certificates for teaching also from the SNU. At this time, John has already started a development group in Den Haag where he trains people of all levels to help them discover there own potential so they can work within the Spiritual Movement.
